DAY 1: DEPARTURE

DAY 2: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER to AGRITOURISMO

DAY 3: SIENA AND PALIO
The race is preceded by a spectacular pageant, the Corteo Storico, which includes (among many others) alfieri (flag wavers), in medieval costumes. The race itself runs for three laps of the Piazza del Campo, the perimeter of which is covered with several inches of dirt and tuff.

DAY 4: SIENA AND ITS MONUMENTS
The tour of Siena includes the historical center Piazza del Campo where all important events take place, Cappella di Piazza, Palazzo Pubblico, the Duomo, the Torre del Mangia. Tasting and visiting Castello D’Albola in the Chiantishire.

DAY 5: ACTIVITIES
Courses on ceramics, cooking or herbalism (all at additional cost), or enjoy the local swimming pool.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO ASSISI
Transfer via private motor coach from Siena and accommodation in the Agritourism in Assisi. The region of Umbria is known as the region of the saints.

DAY 7: ASSISI
In the morning visit Basilica di San Francesco, close to the ancient city walls, with its magnificent frescoes painted between the 12th and 14th centuries. In the afternoon visit to Cattedrale di San Rufino, the Basilica di Santa Chiara, the Eremo delle Carceri and Santa Maria degli Angeli.

DAY 8: FULL DAY TRIP
In the morning departure for a full day trip to visit Gualdo Tadino and Gubbio.
In Gualdo Tadino you can see: Palazzo Comunale, Museo civico della Rocca della Rocca Flea, Museo Civico, Cattedrale di San Benedetto, Chiesa di San Donato, Chiesa di San Nicola, Eremo di Santo Marzio.
In Gubbio you can see: Chiesa di San Francesco, Palazzo del Podestà, Piazza Grande, Palazzo Ducale, Duomo, Parco Ranghiasci, Palazzo del “Bargello”. -
DAY 9: ASSISI AND SPOLETO
Activities in Agritourism: Cooking lesson or ceramica or horse ride and swimming pool.

DAY 10: TRANSFER TO RAVENNA AND STOP IN ANCONA
Transfer via private motor coach to Ravenna, during the transfer stop in Ancona and visit the city: Cattedrale di San Ciriaco, Piazza del Plebiscito, Arco di Traiano, Loggia dei Mercanti, Chiesa Santa Maria della Piazza.

DAY 11: RAVENNA
In the morning visit the city: Mausoleo di Galla Placidia, Basilica di San Vitale, Basilica di Sant’Apollinare in Classe and the Basilica di Sant’Apollinare Nuovo.

DAY 12: TRANSFER TO VERONA AND STOP IN BOLOGNA
Tour of the medieval heart of the city: Palazzo del Podestà, San Petronio one of the world’s largest church, Towers Asinelli and Garisenda, University… Walking city Tour. Parmesan cheese tasting.

DAY 13: VERONA AND THE ARENA
Visit Verona: the city of opera. Visit, walking city tour, the city of opera of Romeo and Juliet and the Adige River. A city rich in History, Literature, Art and Music. The Basilica of San Zeno, masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, Castelvecchio, the Arena, a magnificent and fascinating monument from Roman times, still used today for lyric operas, the house of Juliet, Piazza delle Erbe and Arche Scaligere.
Verona by night: Arena and a performance of Puccini’s Turandot. -
DAY 14: TRANSFER TO Milano AND STOP AT SIRMIONE (GARDA LAKE)
Walking city tour with your goup leader.

DAY 15: Milano AND ITS MONUMENTS
Milano downtown. City tour: Duomo, Galleria, Castello Sforzesco, Parco Sempione, Arco della Pace. Medieval culture: Visit Sant’Ambrogio, Santa Maria delle Grazie, the Ultima Cena by Leonardo da Vinci.
Free time and walking city tour with our tour leader trough the famous fashion district: via Montenapoleone, San Babila, Via della Spiga. -
DAY 16: VISIT MONZA AND CORONA FERREA
In the morning transfer to Monza: Corona Ferrea and Duomo. Walking city tour with our Tour leader. In the afternoon visit Parco and Villa Reale.

DAY 17: FULL DAY TRIP TO BERGAMO
In Bergamo you can see: Monastero di San Benedetto, Duomo di Bergamo, Castello San Vigilio, La Rocca, Cappella Colleoni, Fontana Contarini, Palazzo Vecchio (o della Ragione), Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore.
